I’ve been coaching people to be their best for over twenty years and love seeing them thrive as they adjust the lens they’re looking through. As a mom of teengaers, I realized that I could use my talent to help moms feel less frustrated, isolated and defeated as their kids navigate the challenging teen years. Helping my clients improve their relationship with themselves and honor their needs is my superpower. I’m excited for you to experience more peace and confidence and live the life you’re meant to live.
Hey, I'm Cheryl
Didn’t want to do it
I was afraid to move forward. I’d convinced myself that writing a blog was too much work. That putting it out there committed me to showing up every week. And then there was the effort of learning a new tool that might take away from the other ways I wanted to make in impact.
Yet, here I am. I started my blog and I’m actually excited about it! It’s one of the wins on my celebration list.
What drives me
Here’s the deal. I enjoy writing. It’s how I ended up unexpectedly writing a book. I’m passionate about connecting people to information, tools and other people who could make their world better. I can’t let an issue just sit but feel compelled to get into action. I crave connection with people. Having put myself out there a ton over the last few years, and I want more!
I’ve been through some hard stuff these past few years. At times I was paralyzed, felt isolated and afraid to move forward. I realized my purpose is to help Moms of Teens let go of resentment and self-doubt and regain their peace, so that they can have a better connection with their teen. And that by sharing my story and the tough lessons I’ve learned, I could help more Moms flip the script on how they perceive themselves and start having more fun again. That I could give them a safe place, without judgment or shame, to learn and grow and reclaim the connections and the life they want. To have the courage to try something new despite being afraid. And the way to reach the most people and have the biggest impact was to write a blog.
Afraid to Move forward
So, here I am. Sharing my story with you, which is terrifying! And hoping that you consider if you’re truly afraid to move forward or are just frustrated that you aren’t moving forward. I challenge you to look at any barriers to growth you’ve put up and ask yourself if they’re (still) valid. I’m not suggesting you take on more things that aren’t serving you, but ask if you’re not stepping into something new because it’s unfamiliar. Because you don’t want to be seen starting small. Because you’re afraid of what will happen if you fail.
But ask yourself, what if you fly. What if the new thing, no matter how small, opens up new doors, new perspectives and new life for you. Check your walls and look for the window or the door that will give you a glimpse into what could be. And then take one small step to open it. The fresh air will do you good.
Mom, if you’re struggling to figure out what the next thing is for you or just unclear how to move forward, I might be able to help. My discovery calls are always free. Or you can take a smaller step by better understanding your leading emotion and go from there.
My FREE Feed Your Soul guide will help you reinvigorate so you can start feeling like yourself again.
